Social Media & Content Manager – ToyNews



Key responsibilities: 

 

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media and Content Manager to join our team in the UK. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our brand efforts in the UK & Ireland. You will be part of the Marketing Team and working closely together with the Senior Marketing Manager, as well as our creative & PR agencies.

 

You’ll be working on: 

  • Assisting in developing and executing an ambitious and effective social media & influencer strategy to drive growth and engagement across all channels
  • Responsible for the day to day running of all organic social media channels and influencer activities to further build our tonies® community
  • Monitoring the channels’ performance and measuring the success of every social media campaign and against set KPIs
  • Developing engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which promotes our purpose and brand-focused messages
  • Collaborate with agency on writing and execution of tonies® blog and lead SEO projects to increase traffic to the blog
  • Writing our B2C and B2B newsletters to inform our customers and retail partners about tonies® news
  • Contributing to website content, ensuring messaging and creatives are consistent across all external comms
  • Working with our agencies to ensure visual content is informative and appealing
  • Keeping informed about latest social media trends and industry developments to incorporate them into your work and share with team

 

Are you our perfect new colleague?

You are a Social Media Guru with the following capabilities: 

  • Bachelor degree with minimum 2:1 from a recognised University
  • 2+ years experience in social media and/ or brand management roles either at a high-growth startup, highly-engaging consumer brand, agency or viral publisher
  • Proven track record of delivering successful social media and/ or influencer campaigns across all major social platforms
  • Strong copywriting and reviewing skills, can work to a specified tone of voice and with brand-led strategic messaging
  • Comfortable with data and measuring performance of campaigns/channels
  • Experience in writing creative briefs and working with creative teams to deliver compelling, best-in-class creative content and campaigns
  • Well organised with high attention to detail
  • Can keep cool when working to tight deadlines or juggling multiple projects
  • Results oriented, going the extra mile to get the job done
  • Self-motivated, ambitious and a real team-player
  • Fluent in English and in-depth knowledge about the UK Market
  • Experience in marketing for parents and children a plus
  • Knowledge in photo and video production and editing a plus
